Are You Like the Undercover Boss?

Have you gone undercover like the under cover boss? Have you buried your past blunders so deeply that you have almost forgotten just how far you have come? No one likes to dredge up the past but it is extremely important to remember your history. Did you know that what you have learned from those days gone by, can inform your future success?

Are you willing to talk about the bumps in the road, the mistakes and even the failures of the past? It is important not to be afraid of where you have come from. You have learned so much more than you may realize. What you learned can be useful for some one else along their way.

When you get the opportunity to mentor others, you will want to remember that transparency is the key. You have much more to offer others because of your past story. Wise words from the past remind us all that:
Although I am less than the least of all the Lord’s people,
this grace was given me: Ephesians 3:8a

Steps to Overcoming Failure

We have all failed at something in our lives. Maybe it was that first relationship with your high school sweetheart. How about that very first job? You messed up big time. Maybe you flunked out of college, because you majored in FUN101. Just about everyone has tasted the pain of failure at sometime in their lives. It hurts and many times it is so devastating that you don't know what to do next.

Once you fall down it is hard getting back up. There is so much shame that is associated with not living up to every one's set of standards. This emotion can have a paralyzing effect on the rest of your life. When you failed at something you have to deal with the fact that you've let people down. There were those who expected so much more from you, and look at what you've done?.

So what do you need to do to overcome the failures of life? Where do you go from here? You have failed, and it may have been years ago but you are not over it yet. It could be as fresh as yesterday and you are staring at the fall out right now. The question is how do you get out of that hole? How do you overcome the mindset that led you to this place?

There are answers. You can move forward and be an over-comer. Let's worked together to create a plan for setting and reaching your goals. Let's take all of the necessary steps to be the winner you were created to be.

Finally I can Cook Great Recipes at Home!

Ok, eating out can be costly. If you stop here, stop there and sit in  your favorite place for a meal you don't have to plan the menu, purchase the food, prepare the food or cook it. Nor do you have to do all of the clean up and put away. That's one side of the coin.I like this idea.

Eating out in a recession like economy can be taxing on the average persons budget. Look at it this way, the average meal at a regular restaurant is any where from $10 -15 per person. Add drinks (non alcoholic) and the tip and you may have spent any where from $25-35. There can be a financial problem with spending that kind of money over the long haul for the average person.

So, what is the solution? I found a wonderful new way to prepare food that taste like food in the restaurant but at only a fraction of the cost. You just have to check out these secret recipes. They will surprise you.

Personal Development – 7 Tips to Discovering Your Personal Road to Success

When was the first time you actually sat down and thought through your list of strengths, weaknesses and flaws? Without a working knowledge of who you are, you will stunt your personal development. Anyone who is striving to be the best needs to know what they have to offer. Follow these simple 7 tips to discover your personal road to success.
Before you can move forward in this highly competitive society you must have knowledge of all of your resources. Knowing what you do best, what you do least and what you should stay away from will be critical to your success in life. Follow the steps outlined here and see a whole new world of possibilities. Here are 7 personal growth tips to get you started on your pathway to success.
Tip 1 – Start your personal evaluation by doing a life map. Look back as far as you can remember and tell your life story. You may want to use an outline from a book; a title and several chapters may work well. You may want to draw your story in picture form. You may even want to use a picture collage to describe the different stages of your life.
Tip 2 – The next success step is to look at the data from your story and highlight the hard times. Write down key times in your life that were extremely difficult. The lost of a loved one, a failure in a business deal, even relationship issues gone sour would qualify here. There were lessons learned during these times.
Tip 3 – Step three is to write down the times you remember over the years that were high times. Your successful times in school like graduation(s) count here. Your wedding day or even a promotion on your job fits as high time. You will remember many of these times and when you do write them down.
Tip 4 – Next you will want to list the people who have influenced you the most over the years. The heroes of your life are those relatives, friends or other adults who made a positive impact on you. Write them down.
Tip 5 – Now with this life overview you will see the integration of these factors and how they made a difference in your life. This is the correlation phase. Now draw several personal conclusions from your life map information.
Tip 6 – It is helpful to tell your story to a small group of trusted friends. It should take about 30 minutes. Instruct them to ask you questions and to give you feedback on what they’ve heard.
Tip 7 – Now with the help of a coach or counselor you will want to formulate a plan to move forward with your personal development goals based on the new information you have discovered about yourself.
